At the age of 19, she moved to London to attend music school for studies in Vocal Performance. Singing turned out to not be as interesting as Cecilie hoped... so she carved a new path for herself which lead to venturing into the music business. Along came a small title as Creative and Brand Manager for the school's student run record label.

A couple of years later, she graduated with a bachelors degree in Graphic Branding and Identity from London College of Communication (UAL). Alongside her studies she used most of her time freelancing in the music industry, which shaped her career.

While being sucked into working with music artists, Cecilie has always had an eye for print design, leading her to volunteering at Printed Matters: New York Arts Book Fair at MOMA PS1 in NYC.

When in London, Cecilie also volunteered at Cafe Oto - the home of experimental music in the city.
